The only recycling facility of its kind in Canada, Canadian Liquids Processors (CLP) provides confidential and secure liquid recycling and product destruction services for un-saleable consumable liquids. Wastes are converted into ethanol and renewable energy while recycling 100% of all packaging. CLP serves businesses Canada-wide.
 
CLP is looking for a Maintenance Tradesperson that will support activities to maximize daily production (up-time), minimize unprocessed inventory and ensure that plant, office and facility equipment is properly maintained through regular preventative maintenance.  This position plays an integral role in plant and equipment operations and special projects. 
 
What will you do?
  • Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs for all plant equipment, mainly conveyors, facility and rolling stock (loaders, bobcats, lift trucks and scissor lifts). 
  • Do daily, weekly and monthly checklists on equipment. 
 
What will you bring?
  • Two to three years’ experience as a Tradesperson.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must have excellent welding and fabrication skills.
  • Must have a sound knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, motors, conveyors, shaft alignment, pulleys, belts and bearings and the ability to troubleshoot/diagnose failures of the same.
