Process Engineer

The only recycling facility of its kind in Canada, CLP provides confidential and secure liquid recycling and product destruction services for un-saleable consumable liquids. Wastes are converted into ethanol and renewable energy while recycling 100% of all packaging. CLP serves businesses Canada-wide.
 
What will you do?
  • Review and report on production metrics and KPIs;
  • Execute on and monitor implemented programs, such as quality control and productivity improvement programs;
  • Create process manuals for new and old processes along with maintenance of process manuals when improvements to the process are implemented;
  • Create evaluation programs and KPIs, to determine inefficiency root causes and provide recommendations and implementations;
  • Participate in the development of integrated tool and production schedules;
  • Research new technology and equipment;
  • Process improvement;
  • Other special projects as assigned.
 
What will you bring?
  • University degree or diploma in relevant discipline;
  • Experience in process engineering, lean management, Six Sigma, and 5S;
  • 2 years’ experience in a technical position or work experience in the waste, recycling, or manufacturing industry preferred;
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines;
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft applications, particularly Excel;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work well with teams and provide leadership.
