Emterra is searching for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Administrative Assistant to join our team of maintenance experts.  This individual is responsible for ensuring the safe and timely coordination of maintenance activities for our fleet. This position reports to the Fleet Maintenance Manager. 

What will you do?
  • Create accurate work orders in the Fleet Management Information System;
  • Responsible for the creation of PO numbers and accurate record keeping of stock on hand in the Fleet Management Information System;
  • Responsible for the accurate record keeping of vehicle odometer readings;
  • Ensure completion of reports and records;
  • Attend and participate in various meetings;
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
 
What will you bring?
  • Grade 12 or GED equivalency;  job related post-secondary education considered an asset;
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience working in a related office/administrative role;
  • Effective communication skills both oral and in writing;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and competency of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Demonstrated ability to collect and compile data to prepare and write accurate detailed reports and documentation;
  • Ability to organize, coordinate and prioritize the activities and tasks of a repair facility;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision;
  • Must have the ability to react quickly to emergency situations or rapidly changing priorities.
