Customer Service Representative (Temporary 1-Year Contract)

What will you do?
  • Handling customer inquiries with courteous, professional phone skills;
  • Daily data entry including complaints, route data, and other data as required;
  • Work closely with the Commercial and Operations team to ensure routes information is correct and paperwork from drivers is distributed;
  • Working as part of a small administrative team that supports the Niagara operation;
  • General office duties including mailing invoices, statements, filing and other duties as required. 
What will you bring?
  • Experience and knowledge of the Waste or Transportation industry an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Experience with data entry and the generation of reports
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines
  • Experience providing customer service and the ability to act with diplomacy and professionalism
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft applications
  • Grade 12 or GED equivalency;  job related post-secondary education considered an asset;
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience working in a related office/administrative role;
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as necessary;
  • A friendly personality combined with a “roll-up your sleeves and get it done attitude”!
